We believe that Dr Zak's high protein pasta is the cleanest high protein pasta on the market. By combining two great protein sources with traditional Durum Wheat, we have turned one of the most staple food sources that traditionally delivered high levels of carbohydrate (up to 75g per 100g), into a protein packed reduced carb every day essential.

No artificial colours, preservatives, additives, flavouring and no soya protein in sight.

Each 60g serving delivers 30g of protein from two complete protein sources. That is a huge 50g of protein in every 100g of pasta. Not only that, but our pasta has 55% less carbohydrate than a traditional white pasta.

Where does the protein come from?

Pea Protein Isolate:
Pea Protein Isolate is commonly regarded as the best vegetable protein source on the market. It is absorbed relatively slowly by the digestive system when compared to other protein sources such as whey protein. This provides your body with a more sustained supply of amino acids and nutrients making it ideal for consumption throughout the day. It is particularly high in the Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) and delivers all eight essential amino acids your body needs to help build and maintain muscle.

Does it taste like normal pasta?

Our pasta tastes great and is the closest product on the market to normal pasta. There are a number of other high protein pasta products on the market but they generally fall down on taste. Why should you eat something that benefits your body building programme but tastes bad? That is why we have formulated a product that delivers a massive 50g per serving but tastes fantastic.

What is the shelf life of your pasta?

Like all dried pasta, once manufactured and packed, it will last two years.

Are there any artificial colours or flavourings in your product?

Absolutely not.

Who makes your pasta?

We make our pasta in the EU in a fully compliant manufacturing plant to meet the highest levels of quality and hygiene.

What about the carbs?

Carbohydrates are an essential part of any exercise routine. Most pasta is very high in carbohydrates and low in protein which is why athletes tend to avoid it. A good balance of protein and carbs are essential for pre or post training meals which makes our pasta the perfect choice.

Where do the proteins come from?

We use a blend of Pea Protein Isolate and fresh eggs in our pasta. That means you get two complete protein sources as both provide an excellent amino acid profile containing 12 amino acids with 8 essential. We only use isolated protein to give you the best absorption rates.
