Does it taste like normal pasta?
Our pasta tastes great and is the closest product on the market to normal pasta. There are a number of other high protein pasta products on the market but they generally fall down on taste. Why should you eat something that benefits your body building programme but tastes bad? That is why we have formulated a product that delivers a massive 50g per serving but tastes fantastic.
What is the shelf life of your pasta?
Like all dried pasta, once manufactured and packed, it will last almost two years.
Are there any artificial colours or flavourings in your product?
Absolutely not.
Who makes your pasta?
We make our pasta in the EU in a fully compliant manufacturing plant to meet the highest levels of quality and hygiene.
What about the carbs?
Carbohydrates are an essential part of any exercise routine. Most pasta is very high in carbohydrates and low in protein which is why athletes tend to avoid it. A good balance of protein and carbs are essential for pre or post training meals which makes our pasta the perfect choice.
Where do the proteins come from?
We use a blend of Pea Protein Isolate and fresh eggs in our pasta. Both provide an excellent amino acid profile containing 12 amino acids with 8 essential. We only use isolated protein to give you the best absorption rates.
Why don’t you use Whey Protein?
Whey protein is very susceptible to heat. When drying the pasta whey protein would become denatured and lose their benefit.
